Vendors are essential partners in developing WIC online shopping solutions. The Center for Nutrition and Health Impact (formerly the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition) conducted a study that explored perspectives on WIC online shopping implementation among 16 vendors at various planning and implementation stages. Thematic analysis of interviews found themes related to vendor experiences, needs, and barriers. These slides present study findings and provide strategies for WIC State agencies aiming to engage vendors in WIC online shopping projects, including: sharing evidence of successful WIC online shopping implementation, offering vendors relevant guidance on policies and regulations, and fostering collaborative relationships with vendors, among others.
