Promoting Equity in WIC Online Shopping: Findings from the Pleasant Point Health Center Feasibility Study

Increasing access to technology, including online shopping, is a key priority for modernizing WIC. To better understand the feasibility of implementing WIC online shopping, the Pleasant Point Health Center and the Center for Nutrition and Health Impact conducted interviews and held listening sessions with WIC participants and key implementation partners. Their findings highlight WIC online shopping models and features that best fit the needs of WIC staff, participants, and local vendors. This 1-hour webinar will provide an overview of the Pleasant Point project process and highlight lessons learned that may be applicable to other WIC State agencies in the Plan and Prepare stage of their WIC online shopping work.
